In this third instalment the kid is home alone 80% of the time, we see that his dad is going out of town on business and his mum is still around but she has to go into work, his annoying older brother and sister are at school and the old lady across the street who doesn't like kids is useless when it comes to trying to look after him, she was supposed to babysit and didn't even get that far due to her being lured away and stuck in a garage, clearly the kid doesn't need a babysitter, he obviously can take care of himself and then some! Hence, Kevin goes to sleep wishing that his whole family would disappear, and the next morning, they do! It's not worth your precious time. I like Catherine O'Hara, she is a fine actress! Home Alone is one of my all time favourite Christmas movies, I couldn't get enough of it as a kid growing up. Yes, that is basically the whole plot but it gets enough mileage out of it and it's still very funny. It's a hard choice to decide which baddie is better, so I just say I like them both the same. A movie theatre is a place of comfort. Harry is more cranky, while Marv is the most stupid of the two although both are stupid and maybe that's why people tend to sympathize more with him.
